Dental Implants
Dental implants are a tooth replacement option in which a titanium implant, "screw", is placed into the alveolar bone. The implant then integrates with the surrounding bone, providing stability for prosthesis. An abutment can then be screwed into the implant itself. The abutment can either support a single crown, multiple crowns (bridge), or a denture. Implants are highly predictable and are the most similar replacement option for missing natural teeth.
